I'm supposed to meet some friends for lunch...
But the storm is supposed to start around then, and I would much rather make a b-line out of here to miss rush-hour in white-out conditions....

But I haven't seen some of these people in a while...

I'm not sure what to do....

1. Can you leave early and get a jump on the incoming storm/lunch hour traffic?
Be safe, MissMillie! :hi:

2. I have one boss who will be entirely sympathetic
I don't know about the other one. He seems like a nice guy and says all the right things at the time, then come evaluation time he gets nitpicky about "reliability"

4. Sheesh, it's not like you do this every day.
You could even make up the time later. ;)

3. What better than enjoying a snowstorm with friends over a meal?

6. I agree
but I live 45 miles from my job. Getting home safely is an issue.

If I could be the only car on the road, I'd have no problem with the snow. It's just too many people don't know how to drive in the stuff, and chances are, they'll all be trying to get out of the city at the same time.

Maybe I should have packed a bag
