9. I was wondering the same thing when responding to another poster today!
Sigh. We need a mutual fawning society, you, me and whoever else would like to join us and our beautiful minds!:pals:

10. Fawning is so white-shoes-after-Labor-Day*.
A knowing glance is much more effective, just so you know. ;)

*Delightfully-descriptive phrase borrowed from one of the most courtly and clever DUers I've had the pleasure to know.

12. That Black Dog T-shirt would probably work in Italy,
if it's black. Try it, ya fashionista, you! :P

13. My son in law is such a fashionisto that won't even WEAR a Black Dog T shirt!
He wears a Menemsha Blues T shirt that has a big blue fish on it.

I'm afraid Italy has seen enough of American tourists with their Black Dog shirts to last a long time. I try NOT to look American when I'm there -- I dress in black a lot, mostly because I go in the fall, but this year i'll be there in May so I dunno what I'll do...(I do have a black T shirt with the dog in pink, but...)
