1. Near as I can determine, there is no 'official list' yet
What some are reporting as Teh List has apparently been gleaned from the .pdf of the Mitchell Report: http://files.mlb.com/mitchrpt.pdf

(Warning: Large file.)

From mlb.com at 11:54 a.m. PST:

The players listed in the paragraph above are by no means the only players listed in the report, but in MLB.com's first, quick review of the document, those names stood out for their notoriety. Our coverage will continue minute-by-minute through the course of the proceedings and for the foreseeable future thereafter, but the entire report is available for viewing at MLB.com. It will be presented in a searchable, clickable version as soon as the 311 pages of content can be converted appropriately.

2. Check the sports sites
ESPN, CNNSI, Yahoo Sports, and the Boston Globe are all slowly putting up names as people slog through the report. Some of the names were obvious (Palmeiro, Giambi, Sosa), but there are some odd ones in there as well (Wally Joyner, Chuck Knoblauch)

3. Shooting Clemens with Winstrol through 1998...
damn, even that one kinda surprised me. Winstrol is pretty hardcore. I admired The Rocket a great deal.

6. No current Pirates named in Mitchell Report
No current Pirates named in Mitchell Report
Thursday, December 13, 2007
By Dejan Kovacevic, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The Pirates had no current players named in the Mitchell Report, the investigation of steroids in Major League Baseball that was released this afternoon in New York.

There were seven former Pirates cited:

Former Senate majority leader George Mitchell was hired by MLB commissioner Bud Selig on March 30, 2006, shortly after the publication of "Game of Shadows," a book by two San Francisco Chronicle reporters about Bonds' alleged steroid use. The report is 409 pages long.

"Each of the 30 clubs has had players involved" with steroids at some point, Mitchell said.
