Bisquick pancakes

My tummy is yummy, and no untruths were mixed in the batter.

We didn't have Jiffy in the Fifties.

Oh and mom is 90 next month. God loves her.

4. Scratch is best
but I can barely eat pancakes made with Bisquick. They just taste so... fake.

Whereas Jiffy is only a step or two down from homemade.

6. I'm sorry, but my wife makes the best pancakes in the world. From SCRATCH.
Now my adult kids are pancake snobs and won't eat anything else.

10. Good for them.
That means they'll end up ingesting a lot fewer weird chemicals than the rest of us over the years. :P

8. Ho, yeah. when I was young and could eat large amounts of food, I liked to make ONE
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 09:44 PM by Redstone
pancake for breakfast (using Bisquick, of course). That one pancake, as you might guess, was the diameter of a 12" frying pan.

And it was GOOD! Not to mention something that impressed my friends.

14. I only wear scratch pancakes
and use Rumford baking powder, which has no aluminum. If I wanted aluminum on my head I'd wear a tinfoil hat. :tinfoilhat:
