1. The cat looks like it was just "loving" it.
But that's ok, the tool on the surfboard was having a good time.

2. She looks pretty scared to me
She looks like she wanted to take a header off the front
end of the board.

3. I forgot my sarcasm tag...

The cat was miserable. But some people will put their pets through a great deal of fear to get attention. "Look at me everyone, I'm torturing this poor cat! Isn't this coooool"?

6. It's okay
I got that you were being sarcastic. I think you and I replied at the same time. :)
You're right, of course. Piglets jumping off a diving board isn't exactly natural
behavior but the state fair perpetuates it.

At a bird show a few years back (birds can catch so much stuff from people - people
can catch histoplasmosis and/or psittacosis) the trainers bragged that they only
use natural behaviors in their training. I said, "Like putting dollar bills in
your pocket?"

7. Were you ushered from the bird show by undercover police?
For asking an intelligent question?

:D

8. Nah
I was a tourist, so my cash was worth far more than temporary
humiliation for the trainer. :)

4. my cat's a tough motherfucker
but doing that to him would violate just about every single human-cat trust bond ever.

What an ass.

5. I kept hoping the cat would do what many cats do when you grab them from the water.
They velcro themselves to your head.
