Heath Ledger's funeral service
Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 11:04 AM by MrCoffee
MSNBC has a story on the service, and this is the picture they are running at the top of the story. Michelle Williams is in the sunglasses:

Who goes topless to a funeral service? What was that guy thinking?

2. Oi, mate, gonna pop down for Heath's funeral
and maybe work on me tan while I'm there.

With deepest apologies to Aussies for my horrid attempt at capturing the wonderful dialect.

3. It looks like they're on a beach
And it looks like several people have wet hair which may mean people were in the water. I don't know but nitpicking about what people are (or aren't) wearing in a media photo of a sad event seems a bit petty.

4. The photo's from the wake
not the funeral itself.

5. Some people try to construct wakes as celebrations of a person's
life...maybe it was at a beach he used to go to as a kid, and people wanted to remember those times.

6. So the Church of Hate folks didn't go?
I guess their press release was a lot cheaper.

7. Looks like at least 4 or 5 people were in the water. Their hair looks wet, and one of them is
apparently carrying a towel.

9. I read that
they all ran into the water at the conclusion of the service. Ledger's dad said, "that is what Heath would have wanted."
