easier (read: less sticky) to make than the regular w/ marshmallows?

They are too sticky that way.

Here is my (shhhhh) secret recipe:

1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup

Place above in a microwave save large bowl and nuke on high for 1 minute, stir, repeat. Repeat. (Don't do it all at once or it will bump on you!)

Stir in:

1 cup peanut butter

Renuke for two more cycles.

Stir in 5-6 cups of rice krispies.

Squish into a pan. Yum yum.

7. Hmmm, I'll have to try that.

I use 1 pckg. butterscotch morsels, melt them, mix them with peanut butter, then mix them with the rice crispies. Then chill. I bet they are similar, but your way may be a little sweeter.
