M*A*S*H fans: were Hawkeye and B.J. more than friends?
Edited on Wed Feb-11-04 05:01 PM by m-jean03
B.J.'s pink shirts; the way they were practically joined at the hip, very affectionate, inseparable -- admit it, it's entirely possible! Some UST (unresolved sexual tension) at least? :) :P

Well, my speculation comes from experience -- anytime I've been that close to someone I've either been openly or secretly in love with them, anyway.

I'm only partly being silly here; I'm curious what you think?

15. Geez, what ever happened to two men being allowed to have a platonic
relationship? No wonder heterosexual males are so uptight in this society.

18. I'm sorry about this ---
I think it's great when guys have close friendships... And I didn't mean to imply it was necessary conclusion from their behavior that they be gay... However I think if a man and a woman spent that much time together, were always seen together, were constantly touching eachother, that people would draw some conclusions...Likewise with two women. Intense friendships are wonderful and real things but they are often misinterpreted by outsiders. And I personally have ended up falling in love with my closest friends a couple of times.

Plus those guys make such a CUTE couple.... :)

6. Well, at least we know for a fact you're not
a freeper, because as every freeper knows, BJ Clinton stands--actually sits--for "Blow Job"

7. I don't think there's any evidence to draw that conclusion.
BJ was always pining away for his wife. Hawkeye was a womanizer to the extreme.

9. Maybe they were bisexual?
Edited on Wed Feb-11-04 05:26 PM by m-jean03
And Hawkeye's womanizing was to try to cover the fact that he often found himself attracted to other men.

12. And maybe they were herpesexual (sex with snakes and reptiles)! ;-)
And limbaughsexual (you secretly have sex while verbally attacking others who have sex).

And...

13. His last words...
I believe B.J's last words to Hawkeye were something along the lines of "I don't know how I would have made it without you." Then they embrace.

No question about it.

20. In all fairness to the straight guys here,
These words could be utterly within a perfectly platonic relationship...

But only recently, after an intense friendship of my own turned into a crush.

Nothing at all between these two! :eyes:
