Cable Internet in NYC Sucks!
How do you NewYorkers stand it? Seriously. We're in the city for a convention, and I'm "trying" to stay connected to the free wireless, that's supposed to come with our room - and I spend more time trying to load after time-outs, than I spend trying to work and scan DU.

God this sucks!

1. Are you connected to the correct WiFi access point?
I have come across different people's computers nearby and have actually surfed via their machines on the hotel network before by accident. Try switching.

2. You would think, but no.
I'm on their network. It's so sad :( I'd probably do better by going downstairs to the starbucks. But alas - I'm too tired to care that much, or pay $5 for a cup of coffee, LOL.

3. If the Starbucks is next door you may be able to reach it from
the hotel lobby. And not pay for coffee.
