Trip to NYC for a quick vacation in less than 2 weeks, and I'm excited as hell.

I love Spring, and it will be here soon.

Someone loves me, and that makes me happy and grateful.

2. I'm happy that The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger allowed me to sleep until 5:30 a.m.
3. I'm happy that I can paint all weekend without interruption.

I have a small group exhibit opening Easter weekend. Lotsa colors, but mostly earth tones right now. :)

Crabby MIL is going in the hospital next weekend. 4 days of peace and quiet!

I got a lot of nagging housework done last night.

i'm happy that i got to sleep in this morning, even if i still had to wake up a bit early and work on my day off. but i am happy that i can get that work done at home, so i can sit around in my jammies and drink my coffee :)

10. My family is here visiting

I'm happy about that. My mom and dad, brother, sis-in-law, niece and nephew. We are having a family party for my son who turned 8 on Thursday. My two brother-in-laws will be coming over as well.

Unfortunately, I have a wicked bad sore throat. The worst I've had since before I got my tonsils out at 21. It could be strep. I hope it's not. I unfortunately don't really have a general doctor atm.

12. Barenaked, strep is GOOD 'cause

it responds quickly to penicillin. Can you get to an ER? Strep has serious consequences (don't wanna frighten, but good excuse to go to ER!)
