My son has always loved George, and he was only four when George died (he's now 11). When he found out George had died, he came into our bedroom crying, absolutely inconsolable. His big sister had told him the bad news. But then he said, "Well, at least now he's with John," and he felt better, Poor little guy.

The first Beatle's album I bought was Abbey Road. (ca. 1975, I was 11)

The best songs on that album were George's.

Hands down.

Later on I discovered we shared a love of Python and Formula One racing.
