I lost my dvd remote...

I got up to throw my paper plate away, looked at a couple dvds in my collection, then walked over to my computer, went back to my futon and sat down prepared to start watching again, but no remote.

I've been looking for almost two hours now. I am about ready to go on a shooting spree. I don't know how the hell I could have lost this thing in the span of about a minute and a half. I'm stumped.

I understand the frustration.... I have lost remotes...

4. yeah but my dvd player

is such that I can hit play for the first episode, but after that there are no buttons on it that will allow me to go up or down or anything like that, so I can't navigate through the actual dvd menu. Nor can I use rewind etc.

5. Can you make your TV remote control the DVD player too?

I think every tv related remote I have can also be used to control the other components.

6. you need another pair of eyes

after 2 hours you are obviously looking right at it and not seeing it in whatever odd place you wandered off with it to (bad grammer alert)

go grab a neighbor and have them look.

this happens at my house - the other set of eyes usually goes to it immediately.
