1. These kinds of anniversaries suck, don't they?
But it's so nice to hear you still love her and miss her. I'm sure she feels the same, even though she reads all your posts.

:P

2. The day she died
and the week before were hell, but the good stuff memories never go away, nor do her pictures. She was pretty sexy back in the 50's.

Think I'll celebrate her memory later in the week. Finished Thunder Below earlier in the week. Great story.

7. Oh I'm so sorry.
She (and you) must have been very young.

My mom has been gone almost two years now and I miss her terribly. But I was blessed to have her until I was 48.

10. Yes
She was 39, I was 11. It started out as a bad cold on Christmas 1965. The "missing" has nicely evolved into wonderful memories. They are all the same but I relive them over and over. And thankfully I have quite a few pics of her and the family prior to her death.

9. I know it's a tough day
I lost my mom only 7 years ago...it still feels very, very recent.

Regardless of the amount of time elapsed, I'm sorry for your loss. Bet she was a wonderful lady.

18. She was my Philly connection
Her Mom and Dad lived near Connie Mack Stadium in North Philly so I saw a lot of Philly games.

16. ...
 My mom passed a little over 7 years ago, on my older sister's birthday. I think of Mom often, that is how they stay "alive". So glad you have your happy memories and the pictures.
