Good thoughts needed for a friend of mine..
Thursday, my former singer woke up from a nap and his vision was all screwy.. had a headache, etc.. went to the ER and they figured out he had a stroke, then had 2 more while he was in the ER. Apparently he also had only about 30% kidney function as well.. he's 37, diabetic, going through a very, very rough marital situation, and hasn't been taking care of himself like he should. Supposedly he's going to be released tomorrow. I just hope he starts taking better care.

1. My dear opiate69...
Ouch...

Good vibes for your friend...

Sounds like he needed (and got) a rather severe wake-up call...

And he's 37?

He definitely needs to take better care of himself...

His blood pressure was no doubt way out of whack too...

I'm sorry to hear all this...

2. Thanks, Peggy..
yep.. 37.. that makes two friends of mine now who have had strokes within the last year.. the other one is also 37, and found out the hard way he has Moyamoya disease. Had a couple of strokes about 6 months ago, and they discovered it.. I always knew getting older kinda sucked, but I figured I still had a good 15-20 years before I had to start worrying about my friends' health.

5. Good vibes coming your friend's way.
His body is making him pay attention. I hope he listens and is healthier in the very near future.

8. I've been good.. (aside from friends trying to check themselves out early)
and busy, busy, busy... and yeah, some warm weather would be really nice... but at this point, I'd probably settle for just dry..
