Report on Hooters.

It's a fine day and we sat out on Hooters' porch.
Had a nice view of the beach across the street.

Our Hooter gal was Stephanie.
It was a few minutes before I worked my gaze up that far, but she had a dazzling smile. And she was there to be our buddy.
Y'all were right about the opaque pantyhose.
:-(

I had a Blue Moon beer.
It was OK.
:shrug:
I ordered a grilled turkey/bacon/cheese sandwich and curly fries.
The fries were OK, but the sandwich almost slid off the plate. I think there was half a pound of bacon on it.
I made it through half and brought the rest home.
Maybe with all that bacon I'll save it for breakfast.

It was not such a memorable experience, but now I've filled that square, checked it off, and been there-done that.
So I guess I can get on with my life.

18. Hooters is okay once in a great while

I can't see going there weekly, or even monthly. The one in the Hartford, CT area is right near an oil change place, so I would go there at lunchtime when getting an oil change...

12. My wildest expectations were unfulfilled.

I'm really not sure WHAT I was expecting, but the actual experience was pretty benign.
I think I could take my sainted and late Great Aunt Lucia to Hooters and she'd be OK with it.
She couldn't see too well, anyway.

I love when you call me puddin'.
In college I had a monster crush on a friend's steady called Puddin' Ransome. She was a stunning looking blond Southern Belle who would just get right down in your face and argue politics like a Chicago ward boss.
And tell the raunchiest jokes.

6. We go to the one

on Decatur in the Quarter about once a year. (Too many great places to eat there to "frequent" any one place.) I find there food rather nice and reasonably priced. I do recall in the early 90's, the reigning Navy Admiral for the region put Hooters off limits to Sailors in Uniform. No problem. The Navy is not a democracy and you do what the Admiral says. We did go there often and in uniform (before the grand edict) for going away luncheons.
