After my CDs come in the mail, I feel like I have nothing left to look forward to.
My order came in the mail from Amazon today. I was looking forward to this package since I ordered it days ago. I was dizzy with excitement and anticipation. Now they're here, and my bubble is burst. My panzers are pooped. My luftwaffe is limp.

How were you massively disappointed by life today?

4. Actually, it's a combination of disappointment and Ulli's Roy Orbison In Clingfilm Website

6. Ulli is one funny dude
To wit:

I bow politely. 'There is something you perhaps should know. While you were in a coma I was forced to wrap you entirely in cling-film.'

'Quick thinking,' says Roy.

'You did not mind?'

Roy's expression is unreadable. 'I wasn't aware of it.' But was there the slightest twinkle behind those dark glasses?

Of course, I reflect as I return to the patient Jetta, there can be no question of him enjoying it, for he was dead at the time.

Or was he...???

I discovered that site a long time ago. It never gets old.

Don't forget to check out the haikus.

5. the apartment that I wanted has been rented
My lease isn't up here until July, so I hadn't called about the place yet, since it's been available for about a month. I was just talking to a friend tonight and said that I should call them this week and offer to put a deposit down now if they'd hold if for a month and a half, but I lost out. *sigh* Oh well....

7. Wow! Are they music CDs? Are they that bad?????
I only feel this way when I've waited eagerly for a music CD and then it has disappointed me.

A piece of advice if it's a music CD....Sometimes if you listen a few more times you may grow to love/appreciate it.

Anyway, I'm sorry for your disappointment.

11. Fortunately, you can continue to enjoy waiting for it:
Just stick some new stamps on it and remail it to yourself
