Post your Hair Care Regimen
Just curious :)

I alternate shampoo/conditioners--I use my expensive Biolage stuff three times a week, and my inexpensive Pert Plus the rest of the time. After-shampoo, I use a tiny bit of Biolage curl-defining cream, and then let my hair dry slowly and naturally over the course of a couple of hours, in order to keep my natural curls from frizzifying. If I need more hold, I occasionally use Garnier Nutrisse Volumizing Mousse, 'cause it makes my curls nice and bouncy. :)

How about you?

1. Okay...
1) Turn on shower.

2) Stand under water for a few seconds.

3) Grab bottle that I hope is shampoo.

4) Rub shampoo into hair.

5) Rinse.

6) Dry.

7) Gel.

Note: I have very short hair. Kind of a buzz cut, maybe a half inch long.

2. I'm pretty low maintenance
I also alternate shampoo/conditioners, although I'll use the entire bottle and then change to another brand. If I don't, my hair gets really limp, even if it's Biolage or some other expensive brand.

I usually shower at night and let my hair dry naturally, and then in the morning, I spray it with Paul Mitchell Heat Seal and attack it with a straight iron. I finish it off with a little TreSemme hairspray to hold everything in place and some Christophe smooth & shine spray to keep it from looking dull.

My hair's longish and naturally wavy, but I wear it straight.

3. Here's mine:
I use a cheaper clear shampoo like suave or dove, whichever is cheaper when I shop. Then I use Pantene conditioner, leave in for 2 minutes. Then I get out and put in a leave in conditioner. This time around I'm using a Paul Mitchell something or other, and then comb it out. Then gel for styling and blow drying.

4. ok
every other day i wash and condition mah hair with Pureology hydrate system. it is labeled 100% vegan, hopefully that's not bullshit. It's expensive but worth it, my hair gets really dry because it's tripled processed but that shampoo and conditioner is worth the price and a little goes a long way.

7. Shampoo, blow dry, hair spray.

That's all the time I'm willing to spend on hair. And not much money on the shampoo/hair spray either.

8. I use ganier nutrisse or Dove shampoo, and use Suave clarifiying
shampoo at least once a week, then Ganier nutrisse conditioner. If I'm in a hurry or want to look "done" I blowdry my hair using some cheap mousse for lift. I may or may not use a curling iron to make it curly instead of frizzy. I can do the whole thing - from getting in the shower to walking out the door, in half an hour & that includes mascara. :D

10. Same shampoo for eons. Detangler (baby fine hair & lots of it)
rinse with a bit of vinegar in the last water. Comb. Let dry. Hot rollers before work.

I still have fabulous hair. Too bad everything south of it has gone to shit.

11. I wash it the night before...
in the morning, I get it damp and work in a glob of the stiffest gel I can find that's about the size of a quarter. Then I run my fingers through it until it's "purposely messy," then blow dry it to make it stay in place.

I have used Tresemme shampoo for about 16 years, but I ran out so I got something else...don't remember what, sorry, but it was buy one, get one free.

This works until my hair grows out past about 1-3/4" and then it looks like shit, so when "looks like shit" happens I go to the salon.

14. I have decided to wean myself off shampoo entirely.
Based on several natural-self-care product blogs I frequent, it can be done. I am down to a "shampoo" every 3-4 days with baking soda, followed by a chamomile-apple cider vinegar rinse that I make myself. Eventually I hope to get off the baking soda entirely. So far, so good.

I am tired of spending money for expensive hair care product. If I can figure out how to get rid of that, I surely will!

17. I use L'Oreal Color Vive shampoo and conditioner
It's for color-treated hair, and I get the one specifically for dry hair because my hair is very dry. Then I use Matrix Vavoom forming gel, bur it through my hair and let it dry naturally. My hair is naturally wavy and I finally gave up on spending way too much time trying to blow dry it straight, which never quite worked well anyway. (I'm not good with working with hair.) I just put in the gel and let it dry naturally and wear it curly.
