Help. Can a PC play a .mov/Quicktime file created on a Mac?
My daughter did a video in iMovie for school. It's an .mov file which should open with quicktime. I emailed it to her teacher and burned a cd of it. For some reason he can't open it. Any suggestions?

2. I figured that's the problem
I just found a link to Quicktime for Windows and emailed it to him. Hope that works. I'm spending way too much time on this--it actually her friend's project.

3. Perhaps he could try using VLC player.

I recently had several .mov files that would not open with Quicktime, however, VLC player opened and played them with no problems.

6. Play, yes with Quicktime or a few other players.
Edit? That's a little harder to do without paying money for fancy schmancy software. :P
