So my husband changed out the light bulbs to CFL ones...

and now I feel like I am in a Wal-Mart, it's so bright in here!!

Yeah, yeah, I know...they use about 75 percent less power than incandescent bulbs.
It is the responsible thing to do.

I'm going to need sunglasses - indoors - if he changes all of them. :-(

1. I live the 6500k daylight bulbs
A truer white and don't cost much more than those urine yellow colored ones.

They also negate the need for the overpriced "daylight simulation lamps" costing rather more...

2. They truly give me headaches...
when there are four of them, in one ceiling fan lamp, it becomes overwhelming! :crazy:

3. There are lower wattage CFLs and not all CFLs are equal
if you picked them up at Wal-Mart, they are probably the low quality ones. Consider getting a few better ones for the areas that are too bright or you are getting a headache.

4. He got them at Lowe's and claimed they were good ones...
supposedly, they are only 10 watts...though it seems like each one produces about 8,000 watts!!
