One of our members had surgery, and a meal is going out tomorrow.

Whipped Cream Biscuits are the greatest: 1 1/2 cups self rising flour 1/2 pint whipping cream
Mix together with fork. Roll out on floured surface. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet @ 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
ALTERNATE SHORTCUT METHOD: When baking, bake @ 450 for 7 minutes only. Remove from baking sheet and cool completely. Freeze. Take from freezer as many as you need and bake @ 450 degrees for about 5 minutes or until browned.
I do the shortcut when I make these, and make up a double batch. Then the person has extra which are handy for a quick breakfast, or just hot bread with a meal.
I grew up having either biscuits or cornbread with every meal, hot bread is a great Southern tradition.
