A romantic comedy - The Absent-Minded Professor (1961) Ah, the good old days.
I was ten years old.

A bumbling professor accidently invents flying rubber, or "Flubber", an incredible material
that gains energy every time it strikes a hard surface.

In the excitement of his discovery, he misses his own wedding to Betsy Carlisle, not for the first time.
Subplots include another professor's wooing the disappointed Miss Carlisle,

Fred MacMurray and Nancy Olson.

Music by George Bruns

I have no idea why this is on my mind today.
