Look on both ends of your aluminium foil & saran wrap. Push the tabs in & the roll won't fall out.

2. You know how to remove the core from a head of lettuce too, right?

My mom didn't know that trick either! You just whack where the lettuce was cut, very hard into the head of lettuce. You will get a clean core. This will yield the most lettuce from any head.

but it is a little harder to do
