I got the Ped Egg! *** Pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!***

It is only my love for all of you that would compel me to post pictures of my non-pedicured feet on the internet. But here we go.

Since I sprained my ankle, I haven't been able to get a pedicure. It's been well over 3 months since I've had one now, so you can imagine the state of my feet.

Yesterday, many DUers in this thread:

were raving about the Ped Egg, saying how it actually worked exactly the way it was supposed to. I have a pumice stone (useless) and the razor thingie (terrifying), and nothing was working. So I picked up the Ped Egg after work. (They sell it everywhere - CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreens, etc. It's $9.99 in all of those places.)

In the name of science, I did a photo essay.

I wasn't all that impressed. Are you guys using it dry like in the instructions? I get way better results after soaking my feet (or just at the end of the shower) using a traditional Dr. Shool's callus remover on wet or still damp feet.

And I have to admit it does remind me so much of my microzester that I'm a bit skeeved.

24. What are we supposed to be seeing or not seeing?

I don't know what a pedicure is (though it sounds scary), but you have a foot before, and a foot after. If there a missing toe or something? that would be cool! An egg that could hatch you a new toe if one was missing! Do those work on ears? My ears are big, and if I could cut them off and grow regular size ears back in their place, that would be BRILLIANT! Do the eggs grow ears, or just toes?

In the first couple of photos, my entire heel and side of my foot is covered in scaly dead skin. In the "after" photos, smooth skin, dead skin removed! Ta daaaa!! :D

I use it with this really gritty stuff that's just for feet... and I never have any problems.

It might be partly because I never go barefoot and try to remember to put lotion on them regularly, though.
