My daughter's bungee flew away on her birthday.
The 4th of July, our little blue bungee who could sing songs and talk either flew away or got snatched by a hawk or cat. Didn't see any feathers. Most likely she fly away. We had to go out of town the next day. It sure put a damper on our little holiday and I still feel sad. I don't want any more birds. I'm sick and tired of being sad and blaming myself when pets die. You get so attched to a pet and in an instant they're gone.

1. You mean a budgie?
Sometimes they come back.

You should post flyers for it.

2. Did you let your neighbors know?
Quite a few years ago, I had window feeders and I had two show up. The humane society lent me a cage and feed to attempt to catch them. We were never successful, but we tried for almost an entire summer.

I hope somehow you're able to get her back. Is she people friendly?

6. IIWY, I'd put up some flyers around your area.
Make sure to list her name and the words she can say, it might help someone to get close enough to her to capture her. Also, let your humane society know that she's missing, even if they don't handle birds, they may know people who take in those that are found.

3. I'm going through the same but with a cat.
We adopted a stray grey tabby in the spring and now she is nowhere to be seen after being let out two nights ago. We have two cats and they always stay close to home. I have searched the neighborhood, talk to neighbors, called the pound, but nothing. Next step is to put up fliers. Ugh. I hope your bird comes back.
