4. Cheerios
I can eat them with a sliced banana and skim milk any time of the day or night. I'm not sure what category they belong in.

5. I like the "retro" cereals, shredded wheat & grape nuts.
They are unadorned but they are not flakes.

7. No particular favorite, but it's between 1 and 2.
I like the granola types as well as Raisin bran and those cereals with other dried fruits, nuts & clusters.

9. Oatmeal! Steel cut oats are the best
but I eat more Cheerios than anything. Easier in the morning than having to heat something up. Besides, it can take up to 45 minutes to cook steel cut oats.

Worth it, if you have the time.

12. Honey Nut Cheerios! Yum. Also, one called Wheatena, a cooked cereal which sadly is
no longer available in my area. I'm not even sure if they make it any more.

Come on, you don't have to say granola or Colon Blow just to look sophisticated. We all know that you secretly crave Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch!

15. I'm not supposed to eat cereal, but...
Edited on Thu Jul-17-08 11:45 AM by MorningGlow
when my blood sugar was better, I was addicted to Grape Nuts and granola. However, now we only have Cheerios in our house (plain and multigrain) for MG Jr., and occasionally I'll sneak some. I loooooove cereal. That's my favorite dinner.

On edit: typing with one hand makes for extra lettyers.
