11. Nice post, Meatball.
Now I'm going to have to listen to some real music double as much just to get those 5 seconds of ABBA horror out of my ear.

"Farewell and Goodnight" (The final track of Mellon Collie):

Reinforces my belief that they were (are?) truly the greatest rock band ever. What other band could get away with singing a lullaby and not sounding cynical or pretentious in doing so?

27. I love that CD set.
The only ones of theirs I have are Melon Collie and Siamese Dream. I actually got Melon Collie as a gift, my birthday junior year in high school we were talking about music after we were done with the work on my programming class and the guy who sat behind me mentioned that he had that one but he didn't really like it. My friend sitting next to me made a joke about giving it to me as a present, since that happened to be my birthday that day... so the next day he brought it in and gave it to me. :P

28. Kaizer's Orchestra - Bak Et Halleluja (Live at Lowlands)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjTZ5RV_4Vw&feature=related

Fader eg må be om unskyldning

Eg skal be for deg min sønn

men kom aldri tilbake for her er dine dager talte

In English:

Father I must ask forgiveness
It's my fault that Tony's packed in a car cover
I've broken Monsieur Clavier's regulations
You know I can’t take care of him
I plead to you. Help, Father help me
I'm standing in boots of concrete, Father help me

I said, Russian roulette's not a good idea
But he felt fine so he forced me along
I watched him spin the cylinder
he put the barrel between his teeth

I’ll pray for you my son
Cos by him you've not yet been judged
Cos nobody can say no to the amount Monsieur Clavier gave
And only Father martin knows what's behind a hallelujah

Tony has a genuine double
Track him down, set up a contract, give him money
You may take a handful out of our collection
You may become as most people, or you may become a priest
But never return cos your days here are numbered
