I was wondering if that's what you meant.

I've never seen a fire quite like that, just a few that have happened in the Appalachians, and that was enough.

I just remembered too, the last one I was driving near at night - there were bizarre but wonderful lights in the sky, I thought it was from the smoke & ash. Found out later it was the aurora borealis of all things - until then I never knew that happened in this part of the world.

Anyway, that was a great photo you posted! Sorry I had to bring up the whole Asheville thing.
