I just got the news that a friend died on Tuesday.

I just got the news that a friend died on Tuesday.
He was 45 years old. We had just buried the hatchet last week,over some stuff that happened last winter. He phoned out of the blue,said he was sober again,and apologised for "fucking up". No details on how it happened.
