Why do Saturday morning, coffee and New Order go so well together?

5. That was the soundtrack to my first college all-nighter

I found out at 8:00 pm that I had not one, but THREE ten-page papers due for a class the next morning at 9:00 am.

It was the first semester of my freshman year, and not knowing that you could always BS your way out of a paper deadline, I sat down at my IBM Selectric typewriter with a ream of typing paper, my tape of "Power, Corruption and Lies" on my Walkman. In one night, I pounded out three concert reviews, two of them of concerts I had not even attended.

That was 21 years ago, and to this day I can't think of that album and smile.
