Sucks beyond measure. It's not like this group was looking for accolades for what they had done. Just, (I would guess) not looking to get shit on behind their backs.

It absolutely boggles. If you are going to accept help, be gracious about it. The people who helped certainly were.

Not very often, but I've seen it happen. A bit less horrid but still annoying, are people who ask for help, and never acknowledge anyone's responses.

6. Just a long lead up to this rant.

Been going on for about 4 months and it finally reached a peak this weekend with some very unkind things said to and about some folks who went out of their way to help someone in need.

I understand that there might be an element of embarrassment, but it would really behoove the recipient to STFU and not trash the ones who helped.
