Michael Phelps to host the season premiere of SNL.
The first thing I thought of when I read this was Nancy Kerrigan hosting "Saturday Night Live". I still have memories of THAT trainwreck. Maybe this will be different. Or not.

1. It won't be Phelps who screws it up, it'll be the SNL writers --like always.
Fake game show, fake talk show, mock Presidential address.. the repertoire (for the SNL writers) is narrow and predictable -and seldom funny.
