This has been the quietest hurricane I have ever seen. If I hadn't known it was coming
I would have thought this was just another rainy day. I think Gustav or whatever hurricane remnants that last passed over us was far wilder.

Hope the rest of Maine is fairing just as well and that our Canadian neighbors are ok.

6. Well I have a full bath tub, 8 gallons of water for drinking, cooking, and washing, food that can be
cooked on top of the gas stove, and charged dell phones and flash lights. I think we'll make it through! :P

7. Here in Houston....
we might disagree. I'm lucky to have gotten electricity. We will be using a generator for school tomorrow. The vacation has ended. I think Ike had a bad remnant.

8. Hope you guys get everything back in working order soon. *hugs* Up here it's not
hurricanes that put us in a bad way, but blizzards and ice storms. I'm not used to battening down the hatches this early in the year.
