I REALLY need to go to synagogue
but the later it gets the more I just wanna surf the Internets. Services begin at 8PM Central Time. I don't like riding my scooter in the dark and I don't exactly live in the best of neighborhoods to be riding it home around 10PM (I guess I'm still spooked about the moped rider getting shot in an attempted robbery of his MOPED!)

I seek the advice of the Lounge.....

Go to shul

Not go to shul

I am going tomorrow and Wednesday FOR SURE!

1. Do not go to shul
Edited on Mon Sep-29-08 07:31 PM by GoneOffShore
Stay at home. Eat honey and apples. Drink wine- non kosher.

Watch Dancing With The Stars.

God's on vacation in the Bahamas. He doesn't care. He called me and said you should not go to shul, especially when you have to drive a moped in the dark. He wouldn't do it. He'd send Jesus to go instead, but make him ride a bicycle.

6. LOL...I guess I ought to listen to the voice
of the Almighty, shouldn't I?

However, I've never watched Dancing with the Stars, so maybe I'll just warm up the tubes and surf the Internets. I might even get on the Google.

2. The really important question I'm thinking is...
What kind of scooter do you have?

3. THAT is a most important question and the answer is.....
I have a Vespa GT 200L. I have had it since January 2008 and it currently has 7,300 miles. I LOVE my scooter, absolutely love it.

It looks exactly like this one, except mine has a top case which is the same color as the scooter

Doesn't it look like a proud scooter?

4. I used to work on classic Vespa's
I'm glad Piaggio incorporated some older design style into the new GT.

5. I was told that Piaggio has discontinued the
Vespa GT. I have had three Vespas in three years (an LX 50-I put 4,500 miles on it, an LX 150-I put 18,275 miles on it and now the GT200) and I am VERY happy with the GT 200.

7. I wouldn't doubt it.
Scooter companies in Europe are very trendy. I'm surprised they even released it with the retro styled cowls in the back.

8. True that. However, I think this scooter is very popular among
Americans who like Vespas.

As long as I can still get parts. The Daring Plum is a discontinued color as well. I wish I was rich enough to get a Vespa in every color, be the Jay Leno of scooters.

10. Stellas are sweet. Several people in the local
scooter community have old school Stellas. One got a sweet Stella off Craigslist. When she got it, the scooter had a bunch of mirrors but it was too difficult to control with all of the mirrors so she took them off.

What color are you thinking of?

13. I like the military green they just came out with
But I don't really care. I guess I'm a typical guy that way. I just want one so I can kit it out and ruin the warranty.

14. If you used to work on scooters then you know what you're
doing when voiding the warranty.

11. Go tomorrow, like us!
Tonite, round challah, apples and honey, and appreciation of the good that has happened this year. (That last one might require a little effort considering the year it has been....)
