And then later became the Mathematician formerly known as the "Prince of Mathematicians." He was undoubtedly smart, but like most Lounge Lizards, I feel that he should have published his ideas concerning non-Euclidian geometry.

8. They are very beautiful ,very concise and elegant , especially the differential form.
They are are key that lead towards Lorentz transformations and therefore special relativity

11. Too reactionary for my taste. Also he was an outie, not an innie, which is a deal-breaker for me
A real kick-ass mathematician though: figured out cyclotomy, discovered quadratic reciprocity, invented the composition of quadratic forms, and so on ....
