Some asshole wiped her checking account clean right on Friday, her pay day. She's got a mortgage and car payment due and is panicked as all get out. :(

Fortunately I used to work for a credit card company and know a fair bit about how to deal with bank fraud. I got a lot of practice profiling fraudsters, all of the fraudulent charges were online purchases of game software, which tells me it was likely some dumbass teenager. We think we've narrowed down where her debit card number was compromised, and who actually did it. We're just waiting for the charges to post to her account so we can file a police report to get the cops involved.

God I hate humanity sometimes.

My job is sports stats. Right now I'm flooded with football and golf while trying to catch up on basketball. I fell behind there last spring when I was out of town helping my mom recover from a diabetic coma. Basketball is a bitch when you fall behind, since the NBA is 82 games per team plus 2 months of playoffs.
