Neither one of my dogs will ever be accused of being insomniacs.

That is all...

Both of mine can sense it as well.

Now if we could just get those dummys who still think critters can't feel to open their eyes and pay attention, the world may be a better place.

17. It might be more of a challenge
to have me find a fault in my cat. He is the single greatest little cat in the world. He's polite with his claws, snuggles only when it's welcome, never wakes me up before the alarm, always purrs and nuzzles up when I'm sick or have had a hard day, comes to get me before bed time. And he always comes when he's called.

I take very good care of him, and he, in his kitty way, takes very good care of me.

The best thing I can say about our cat is that she is asleep most of the time and is not nearly as obnoxious as she used to be.

He is smarter than some people, I swear.
If he does not want to do something, he will not do it, period.
At his previous owners, he was tha lead dog of 6 in the house, and he tries his best to run our house the was he wants it.

Still, he is a sweet natured animal - you just occasionally have to tell him "no" just to remind him he is the dog.

...so I am grateful for that. He is eating and drinking water, but not much; still taking unfruitful trips to the litterbox and crying, but again not as frequently. He is sleeping a lot and purrs when I pet him, but doesn't want to be held or carried and is not interested in playing with his toys or the other kitties. So we're not out of the woods yet. I am staying close by and keeping an eye on him.

Here is my good little patient, he has been confining himself to his "sick bed" (in which he barely fits, lol) under my desk:

75. No pic, but there was a skunk in my basement,
which had the beagle freaked. Happily, the property committee found and closed the hole in the foundation. Now I only have raccoons on my porch at night. Freaking the beagle.

84. our schnauzer sure barks a lot but he's crazy about me
when I get home in the evening he goes completely nuts, jumping up and down licking my face and..,,.... think ht can differentiate between the sound of my car and others because he starts this when I;m still way down the street.

.he does this weird thing when I'm down on the floor with him on all fours. He squeezes under me and then plants his paws and pushes up, like he's trying to pick me up off the floor. of course, he's a mini and I weigh 10 or 15 times what he does...

iI don't know what he gets out of this. maybe he's acknowledging my alpa male status.

91. I guess that is what it is too
We do "spot fights" here.

I get on the floor and act all serious. First the Dachsund comes up to me and roots me with her nose then rolls belly up grunting until I pet her. The Akita does more of a belly flop on me. Then after I toss him a bit he rolls over belly up until I pet him.

After they get all clam and relaxed (or it's commercial) I push em away from my "spot" and guard it. It's a riot.

100. Yeah, he's a total freeper.
I'm pretty sure that DVD case is for Queer as Folk. He loves to pull out the electical cord whenever I watch that or Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

He hates people who don't speak English too.

But he has a fuzzy little face so what can you do?

93. My two doggies ...
... my old, rescued grandpa Beagle has the absolute sweetest dispostion, despite having had a horribly rough life. He's an inspiration to me because he just wants to love and be loved, and gives a seemingly grateful tail wag for every meal, every brushing, every kind word, every walk.

... my Cattle Dog is always happy, knows when I need to 'snuggle' and acts like the Beagle's "parent" - waking him up in the
morning to go outside, not letting him out in the back yard alone, and is so brilliant that he will bring me their collars on command when its time to go somewhere. He's a furry, 4-legged human without all the bad habits.

105. Sadie is..
.. the sweetest and silliest dog ever. She gets me going in the morning with her excitement and spunk. She calms me when I'm home after a long day. She for the most part fills the hole in my heart that my baby Trevor Doodle (the best Jack Russell Terrier EVER!) who passed over a year ago. I still miss him horribly and could cry just thinking about him. He will always have a place in my heart, and Sadie reminds me so much of him even though she is definitely her own dog!
