is it going to get any better?

I am a divorced working mother of 2. I can barely make it even with the child support I do get. I am still paying for a house that my ex was court ordered to help pay for until we sell it, which we all know is almost impossible these days. I was supposed to get a raise in Feb, and still haven't yet. My daycare bills are going up along with everything else. I don't know if I can keep going on this way...and I am not seeing a light at the end of a tunnel.

By that I mean family and/or good friends nearby, a church you belong to or can join, access to a library to find local resources for assistance with things like utilities, etc.? Can you barter out babysitting with someone? Legal Aid was also a good suggestion.

All I can do right now is to kick your thread, but I'll do that!

I've seen your threads here tonight. I see you are looking for suggestions, and DU loungers really can give great ideas on cooking and frugal living, but more than anything, the lounge posse is here to lift you up.

So get some plastic for your windows, get some great casserole tips here, but please, take care of you and your kids. The light is there, really, it just seems like it's not.

5. I was a divorced mother of two, 35 yr old. He left me for a 26yr ho. He left me with a mortgage

and tried to sell the house out from under me. Somehow I managed to make it. You will too.
