A moment in time from my boss:

15 minutes trying to find a post it note buried somewhere in the pile of things on his desk,

5 minutes trying to remember what he was going to write on the post it note,

45 minutes talking to a friend on the phone,

oh yeah - he remembers the post it note

writes "file this" on the post it note

10 minutes finding what he wants filed which has gotten lost somewhere

20 minutes walking to other side of office to locate my in-box, stopping to chat with others

Any guesses as to where the filing cabinet is located? 6 inches away from his desk.

Off to work with myself, thank God it's Friday.
