So I mailed my ballot today and voted for Barack & Joe. When the rest of you catch up, we should have a party. :P

2. Oktoberain and i went on the first day of "Early Voting", along with
a couple of vanloads of our fellow "Young Democrats" and "WVU for Obama" members, after holding an impromptu rally in the student union's outdoor quad.

Funny, it's so red round these parts, I asked "If I vote a straight party ticket, and there isn't anyone running in that contest, will it just leave it blank?" (they are new machines) The guy replied, "yes, but there are republicans running in every contest." LOL, okay... (There were several uncontested offices with no Dems running.)

Mailed my absentee ballot today. For Barack and Joe, of course.
Not that it matters in the Electoral College. I'm from Alabama.
But, still-"Take this, you bastards" was my attitude.
