My two year old just had his 1st shower
Let's just explain the situation as a, well, "poop explosion" in his high chair.

1. Hoo-boy, that's not a pretty mental picture! The poop, not the shower!
I hope the explosion was contained by the diaper! Were you, daddy, in charge of the clean-up? I hope the little guy is just having temporary digestion problem and doesn't have a tummy bug.

3. No, it was a catastrophic diaper failure
Otherwise known as a 'wedgie'.

On the plus side, he, I, the highchair, and the bathroom are now squeaky clean!!

4. Did you, the toddler, and the highchair, all take a shower together?
I think you might want to look into LUVS® diapers- the ones with the reassuring commercial showing diaper wearers getting shoulder rides! :o

6. Reminds me of what my godparents nicknamed me as a baby:
The atomic shit box. :D

7. I remember a while ago
my husband decided (brilliantly) to spin our two year old around on his lap in his office chair.

for a while.

needless to say, he's the one who got to clean the throwup from the carpet, walls, keyboard and monitor.

good times...

9. When my niece was a toddler, my brother used to hose her butt off in the kitchen sink
with the sprayer. I think I'm glad we live 3,000 miles apart.

MG Jr. has had his share of "events", so you have my deepest sympathy/empathy. :scared:

10. As a parent of a current 2 year old...OMG, I know
We had that happen a couple of weeks ago. Not fun but this really is a fun age. My daughter about kills us with her observations about the world and the people in it.

11. I absolutely love the two's
Our older son just turned 5, and I miss his 2-year old self.

It's just a fascinating mix of new language skills, physical control (running, jumping climbing etc), cognitive development, and wild narcissism. Lots of fun. Plus they think their parents are the funniest and most-fun people around :D

I recall the 3rd year being very trying with the older boy (same with my little sister, come to think of it). We were sort of relieved when he turned 4 and started preschool.
