I just spent twenty minutes waiting outside for JackMN's bus,
Edited on Mon Oct-27-08 02:15 PM by LaraMN
freezing my butt off and wondering where in the heck Jack and the other kids are.
Turns out it's 2:00, not 3:00.
I seem to have a real problem with hours. The other week, I showed up for a 10:00 class at 11:00.

Telling time is hard work!

:banghead:

1. It's not your fault,
It's your cologne. The scent of vodka interfers with the normal passage of time. 'Struth!

2. I think it's George W. Bush's fault.
If he hadn't been such a shitty president, I wouldn't be having election nightmares that impede my restful sleep, and I wouldn't be constantly obsessing over the length of my election countdown paper chain and other distracting election-related things.

I can't focus.
Thanks a lot, GWB.

5. I can fully support blaming Dubya.
And Karl Rove. Dick Cheney, too.

Obviously, too much of your brain is allocated to controlling the weather

9. That reminds me
I made a horrible cultural faux pas last weekend. I was in Starbucks and was certain I detected a Pommie accent from the proprietor. I asked him what part of Australia he came from and he said he was from London.

6. Yeah, and I'm doing a mighty fine job of that.
A snow piece fell on me today.
It was not a flake, but a smallish piece.
I feel that as it was not an actual "flake," it doesn't really count.

3. A word of encouragement
At least you're wrong in the better direction, early, not late. ;)

8. That was my thought as well!
If it gets progressively worse in that direction, I can expect to be two hours early for things in the coming weeks.
