She WILL NOT settle down. She's picked fights with every single one of the cats, including the one she's usually afraid of and the one she usually ignores. She has tipped over every waste basket in the house, nosed around in litterboxes, and just paced around the whole house sniffing and sniffing and SNIFFING!!! She wants to go out. She wants to come in. She wants to go out. She wants to come in. She wants to fetch her dumbell....no she doesn't...yes she does...

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Thank you.

1. Almost New Moon
Technically, it starts tomorrow. I saw just a bare sliver of it yesterday before going into the office. If I'd had my camera I would have at least attempted to get a good shot (the Moon seems to be good at eluding my compositions...)

I hope your beagle figures out calm and serenity soon :)

Serenity Now!!!

3. That's weird. One of our male cats, Burr, has been out-of-control....

...all day. Making guttural noises like I've never heard before. He's been non-stop.

5. Far from the full moon...thankfully.

I don't feel like ripping my shirt off, tearing through the night and chasing rabbits in my wolf-like appearance.

6. Do you live in an area prone to earthquakes?
I've heard animals get irritable and restless where there's one on the way. But neither of my sister's two cats acted in any way different than usual before the last two hit California (and I was visiting during one), so maybe that's a myth.

8. Not really prone to them. but there have been a few. There was one
a few months before I moved here. It was felt as far away as the Quad Cities (two hours by car). But none since I've been here--now 4 years.

11. Both of mine are acting weird
my female has not shut up today
she's walking around the house just barking at nothing...

and she is usually the quiet one, sleeping all day and only barking when the male does..
my male is acting scared or I should say more scared and jumpy than usual...

ugh
