7. I'm looking for a purty
Edited on Thu Oct-30-08 11:42 PM by reyd reid reed
light worsted-weight. And then a heavier, textured yarn that won't pill easily. I've 'bout worn out my Big Sweater and I want to make another one.

Sock yarn would be good, too. Fingering weight...I need some of that.

God...I just need a whole store. Back it up and unload it and I might be satisfied.

For a while.

Oh...and a lightweight silk in some really rich colors. And....and.....

Hawt doesn't do it justice

That is yarn marketing genius. I am going to slowly buy a whole bunch of it. I hear raves about the Shepherd Sock yarn though, all around. :D

15. I will absolutely let you know!!
I think I'll be stopping in there around the 22nd of November. Hair Appt. before I present at a conference on the 8th of Dec. :)

I could spend days in there, if they'd let me. I try to go with a fixed purchase agenda...or else I walk out with $200 of yarn and tools that I so don't need.

And no, I can't afford it either. Damn yarn crack addiction. :D

8. S'easy.
I knitted up three pair in just a couple of weeks back in September. Go for it...find a pattern that you think makes sense and go for it.

9. I couldn't hack it on double pointed needles, and here's what I did:
I picked up Cat Bordhi's "Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles"

Practiced the first pattern, on Size 3, 24" circs, with Cascade Fixation, and I'm a sock knitting maniac now. :)

20. That's the book I have
My husband's aunt has been knitting since she was a kid (well over 65 years), and she gave me Socks Soar as a gift, with an offer to help me if I have any issues.
