I had a gift certificate for IKEA from my parents that I needed to use, so I went out there today and when I found this chair it was love at first sit.

is the Lumbar Support. God it is so comfortable.

He bought the footstool too. Amazing how comfortable that chair is. Really. Small enough for a corner, yet it holds his 230lb frame easily.

Mine is the light coloured wood with off-white cushion.

I went to Ikea with a friend, and he introduced me to the phrase "chair I could die in", and we then used that criteria to judge chairs, and that was the one I chose, along with matching foot rest.

It's really nice, but I mostly just use it for watching tv and when I'm talking on the phone. Most of my time I spend here at my desk, because even though I have a laptop, I find it kind of awkward to actually use on my lap.

18. I do have another chair that I got at Pottery Barn

that is very comfy also, but to get lumbar support in it I need a pillow or something behind me.
