Time for an 'ask me anything' thread...
because:

1. It's too quiet tonight and it's starting to scare me :scared:

and

2. I haven't done one in a loooooooooooong time.

5. I don't know that I have one this week...
I've been listening to a lot of The Casualties and Ozzy Osbourn, but that's not really my doing. And when the kids finally stop, I usually just enjoy the (relative) silence.

And wait for the ringing in my ears to subside.

:hi:

7. There've been a lot of 'em...but prolly
having my first baby. Or my root canal. I think the root canal was scarier -- at the time -- because I knew I *could* get up and walk away. If I really wanted to (and when they said I wouldn't need novocaine, I damn near did). A little harder with a baby, though.

8. Awwwwww, now would I do that?
Okay...I can't be absotively sure because it's been a while, but it has something to do with being connected to the transmission and measuring that somehow. I remember reading it somewhere, years ago...has to do with magnets? And transmissions?

9. It has to be pressure
somehow. If you play with old cars you'd know some speedometers jump 10-20 mph :D

That's why it can't be cables.

I about give up on a simple explanation. hehe

:hi:

10. Yeah, but aren't there different types of speedometers?
I mean, they all do pretty much the same thing, but as technology rears its ugly head, I'd think it'd change that, too.

But I dunno. A car expert, I ain't. I can change my oil and my plugs and my air filter and my battery and that's about it. And I'd usually rather find some nice guy to do even those things for me.

:P

13. Heh...next week,
with all the Thanksgiving stuff. I've got one recipe that needs to sit for at least a month, so I might have to get that one done in the next few days...and then it just grows from there. Next weekend I think I'm going to do the gingerbread house. Last year I was late getting it done and I regretted it. It turned out fine, it's just that...well...I felt like I was rushing it.
