Big Banks are some GREEDY mo-fo's!!! Let 'em rot in hell.
The boyz and I played a gig last week, and got paid via a check dranwn on local Big Bank. Rather than simply deposit into my account, I walked to Big Bank's main office to cash said check. Presented ID, etc. "Sir, do you have an account with us?" No, I don't. "There will be a $5 charge to cash the check."

I'll skip the rest of the exchange, wherein I got a little upset (I think I may have used the term "greedy bastards") and tried to explain that a check is an order from their customer to Pay To The Order of ______. Suffice it to say, THEY SUCK!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrr! I guess their CEO needs gas for the corp jet. Bailout my ass.

1. Bank of America does that in our area.
My paycheck is cut from them, and they charge me $5 to cash it. It was cheaper than waiting for my bank to clear the check. I was not on direct deposit for several months, which is why I ended up doing it that way.

5. I would have done the same.
Charging to cash a check drawn on one of their own accounts? That should be illegal, along with a billion other little "screw the little guy" fees.

6. U.S.Bank
U.S.BANK did the same shit to me.

Another bunch of Assholes is Chase Bank. I decided to pay my Car Payment on-line. Chase Bank, doesn't even offer you the ability to pay with a debit card (like everywhere else) you can only use your Bank accounts check routing number and account number. More numbers to possibly fuck up and they Charged $10!

I did this on-line last Thursday and it still hasn't shown up in my on-line Bank Statement (like normal debit card transfers do). So now I don't know if I put in the wrong numbers or WTF? It had to be paid by Today in order to avoid a late payment. I hate banks.

That's 2 banks I will never open an account with.
