*WHOOPS* I lost my wedding band
Saturday morning I went for a run at the gym and when I got back home I opened the cabinet where I ALWAYS put it and it was gone.

I don't wear it when working out (running/swimming) which is okay with my wife.
I have a ring check almost everyday -Oh GOD my...oh yeah that's right it is in the bathroom cabinet.

:grr:

I have looked everywhere twice. I even redrove everywhere I have been since Friday afternoon
I went through all the garbage in the house by hand yesterday

My wife has been really cool about it but it is really ticking me off

I am turning over furniture later
Looking through my daughter's toys

DAMN!

1. I lost mine for about six months. We found it when moving. The cat
had apparently been playing with it and it ended up behind a book shelf!

2. replacement
Me and the wife got cheap ones when we first got married so we upgraded a few years later from here. http://teno.com/rings.html

They are stainless steel but really nice and very comfortable.

3. Maybe just relax, it'll turn up right?
It can't have slipped into a different dimension... did you check the p-trap?

4. I just replaced the p-trap three weeks ago
I considered that but there is a thingie (plumbing term) in the drain that would stop it.

5. Were you taking it off because it's too loose?
I can't remove my ring unless I put lotion on my knuckle and wriggle it off.
When you went to the gym did you realize you hadn't taken it off at home, and put it in the glove compartment, your pocket, or locker?

13. It was practically falling off
I've lost a lot of weight since we got married.

Just last thursday I noticed that I should put some tape on it or something until I got it sized down.

I always ALWAYS put it in the same spot everyday when I ran or swam. She was cool with that.

6. My husband
was tossing crap (weeds) over the fence into the canyon and his ring went with the weeds... Wheeeeee... the ring flew into the canyon and has been lost for years. I was irritated but decided that it was a small and pitiful cry for help.

8. your wife is having special engraving done and didn't want to tell you?

your daughter borrowed it? (I don't know how old she is now, but...)

seriously, I hope you find it soon. That is aggravating for sure. My husband hasn't worn his for years, since it needs to be re-sized... and he never gets around to it. Also he seems to have developed a skin reaction to the silver. Weird.

12. Not likely
she knows to leave well enough alone

It took a lot for me to even consider wearing a piece of jewelry so I doubt that that is what happened.

10. My mom lost her diamond.
She never found it. We think it slipped off and ended up in the trash when she was cleaning. This was about 10 years ago.
