Lou Reed admirers, don't miss him being interviewed by Elvis on Sundance

There are some highlights on the sundance website. Best moments of the show: Elvis does Femme Fatale with his house band (including Steve Nieve on accordian!); Lou and Elvis duet on Perfect Day and Set the Twilight Reeling; Julian Schnabel recites Rock Minuet.

What a great show! Excellent job Elvis!

:applause:

2. I was shocked when Lou reached over and touched Costello...
that is only the second time I have ever seen Lou Reed touch another human being

I listened to a few cuts of Take No Prisoners afterwards for contrast. Interesting juxtaposition of attitudes!

4. As the twilight sunburst gleams, as the chromium moon sets, as I lose all my regrets...
...and set the twilight reeling...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxzbiODn0Z0

One of my all-time favorite Lou songs (and I own every note he's ever recorded, including all of the Velvets stuff).

5. It was fun watching those two play that together, like two kids in a garage.
