17. Prolly 'cuz a flashlights not a laser pointer!
That little red dot totally captures their attention!

I just played with my cat. She'll still follow it around, even if she's stopped trying to grab it.

8. lol, I have a biter too.

He bites when he is feeling happy and affectionate or playful, so they are "gentle" bites, but omg he has sharp little teeth! I will never forget the day he was hiding behind the toilet in the bathroom (I didn't see him) and he bit me on the butt.

He suddenly mistook himself for a lion on the savannah and you for a migrating gazelle, pounced for the kill, then realised what he was actually doing and scarpered!

28. Probably wants to play.
Bouda wraps herself around one ankle and attacks it. Or leaps through the air full speed at your knees. That never goes well for anyone...

29. He loves you and wants you to play with him.
Spend a few minutes chasing him around the house and making high-pitched yells. One of our cats goes utterly psycho when he's in a playful mood and we do that, until a couple minutes later he jumps up on the bed for easy access and he gets all kinds of hugs and cuddles. :)

Our oldest, when she was still a kitten, would yell at me from across the room while in a Halloween kitty pose (back arched and turned sideways with a puffed up tail). That was the cue for either me or my mom to play tag with her for a while. I only wish she still did that. I miss it and it's been several years. :P

And they remain bffs. I don't pretend to understand it.
