3. True To Life
Those that were content with their station in life enjoyed it more then those who were the social climbers. Onslow was content. Hyacinth was not. Indeed poor Richard thought that Daisy and Onslow were down to earth while Violet(and her room for a pony)and Bruce with his personality were never happy with all the money they had.
I always wished they had a show when the girls were young and dear old daddy was the brilliant soldier and man of preserves. It was always odd how mother never came into the conversation though!!
